University of Adelaide, Australia, in 1994. During 1988-89, Dr Madhusudhan worked as a Senior Research Fellow (entomology) at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. He was a Research Officer and Demonstrator (entomology) at the Waite Agricultural Research Institute, Australia (1989-1993). Dr Madhusudhan was appointed as Technical Services Manager, Cargill Seeds (I) Ltd (1994-95) with responsibility for technical training and product development. From 1995-97, he was employed as a Senior Executive by Sandoz (I) Ltd, with responsibility for regulatory affairs and technical development. In 1997, Dr Madhusudhan was appointed Research Assistant (entomology) at the Crop and Food Research Institute of New Zealand. He joined BioDiscovery in 1998 and has special responsibility for regulatory affairs and technical development. His current research includes insect resistance management and the development of strategies to combat resistance to transgenic plants.
